SSMC Mission: Keep it Simple and SSMC Goal: Superior Healthcare
About SSMC
Background
In today's economic times businesses find it essential to be constantly searching for new ways to improve efficiency, maximize their return on investment, and manage risk. The use of supplemental staffing services, when used properly, is a successful means to help achieve these goals. Access to outside supplemental staffing resources allows companies to quickly adjust resource levels without having to commit to the long-term costs associated with permanent employment. Often supplemental staffing resources are utilized without sufficient consideration of short-term costs, the impact on quality and service, and the increased demands on already existing internal resources. SSMC was formed to assist companies with their utilization of supplemental staffing resources in a more structured and better-controlled manner. SSMC has taken this issue and applied its expertise in the areas of Human Resources and Staffing, coupled it with its expertise in Technology, and has produced both a process AND a complementary system to better manage the supplemental staffing process. This dual component system embodied by SSMC, known as the Supplemental Staffing Program (SSP), is a unique industry concept that is becoming widely recognized.
